GPA Calculation

The Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by multiplying the credits for each course by the grade points associated with the grade earned. Totaling the points earned for all courses and dividing the total points by the number of credits will give you your grade point average.

Grade Point System: A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, F = 0

Example:

Course Credits Grade Grade Points Quality Points
MATH 1012 3.0 A 4 12.00
ENGL 1010 3.0 B 3 9.00
ASTT 1010 4.0 F 0 0.00
COMP 1000 3.0 C 2 6.00
Totals 13.00 27.00

Total Quality Points of 27.00 divided by 13.00 Credits = 2.07 GPA
