Emergency Communications

01/20/25: The safety and well-being of our Savannah Technical College community is our top priority. Due to the increased chance of winter precipitation in our area with impacts predicted to begin as early as tomorrow, all campuses will transition to virtual learning for students and remote working for employees on Tuesday, January 21st, and Wednesday, January 22nd.

We encourage everyone to prioritize their safety and make the best decisions for their individual circumstances. For those who are unable to work remotely, please contact your supervisor to discuss options.

We will closely monitor the weather situation and determine if we need to adjust the schedule for Thursday, January 23rd. This decision will then be communicated through all available channels, including our website, email, and social media on Wednesday.

We understand this may cause some disruption, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we prioritize the safety of our entire Savannah Tech community.

Any change in the operational status of the college will be communicated through available communication channels including the College’s text/email notification system, website, and social media. Students, faculty, and staff are reminded to monitor email and phone messages from the College and to stay in touch with us by visiting www.savannahtech.edu/emergency and following our social media channels.
