Savannah Technical College graduates are career ready with training employers want for high-demand jobs. Within one year of graduation, 100% of our graduates are working or continuing their education and 92.5% are working in their field of study (AY22).

The College provides a pipeline of highly trained graduates for employers in Chatham, Bryan, Effingham, and Liberty Counties. Companies like Gulfstream, JCB, Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Memorial Hospital, Candler Hospital, Daniel Defense, and more hire our graduates.

Our Programs of Study

With more than 45 programs, Savannah Technical College has training for careers in health care, manufacturing, aviation technology, business and professional services, industrial technology, and general studies. High demand industry training is also available with additional HOPE Career Grant funding for those that qualify. Start here and transfer 28 general education (core) courses to any University System of Georgia institution.

Skylar found her passion with welding at Savannah Technical College. She graduated at the top of her class and was named the 2017 TCSG GOAL Student of the Year. She had job offers prior to graduation and now works at Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Her future is on fire thanks to welding training at Savannah Tech.

Aircraft Structural Graduate

Nelson is a top structural mechanic at Gulfstream, where he assembles state-of-the-art cockpits for the company’s elite G450 and G550 jets. He says, “Savannah Tech helped make my dream come true. Kimberly Caesar

Practical Nursing Student

Kimberly always wanted to be a nurse. She is excited about the impact she will have to help others feel better, regain their health and thrive. She works overnight as a patient care technician in the oncology/medical-surgical floor at Memorial Hospital. Her nurse manager trusts the quality of graduates who come from Savannah Technical College to deliver quality, hands-on care. She plans to complete STC’s practical nursing program in Fall 2018.

Gordon Cone

Electrical/Computer Engineering Technology Graduate

Gordon got his start at Savannah Technical College, earning an associate degree that paved the way for his success. He was the first in his family to earn a four-year degree from Savannah State. He works at General Electric in Atlanta as an application architect and information technology specialist.
