Creative Careers
Savannah Technical College graduates are career ready with training employers want for high-demand jobs. Within one year of graduation, 100% of our graduates are working or continuing their education and 92.5% are working in their field of study (AY22).
If you enjoy creative hobbies, visual arts courses, or have always wanted to go to work with a creative career, think about pursing advanced training at Savannah Tech. Improve your theater/set skills with film production (lighting, staging, etc.). Expand your love of visual arts/drawing with a career in drafting (architectural/mechanical). Create a masterpiece with chocolate or sugar sculpture in our baking & pastry program. Weld works of art with welding & joining, where students compete with welding sculptures. Our training will provide a career for you to continue your interest in creative arts.
Training is available for diploma, degree or short-term technical certificates of credit (TCC) programs. Many of the following in-demand diploma/TCCs offer additional funding for those that qualify through the HOPE Career Grant.
High school students (10th-12th grades) may enroll in occupational creative career training through Dual Enrollment.
