Marketing Management
The Marketing Management program is designed to prepare students for employment in a variety of positions involved in the marketing of goods and services. Graduates may be employed in the areas of buying, selling, merchandising, advertising, customer relations, or promotions. The Marketing Management degree program at Savannah Technical College includes both classroom and laboratory instruction designed to develop skills and attitudes required to work in the field of marketing.
Beginning marketers often crunch numbers to determine sales levels, work on gathering data from which a strategy can be formed, or participate in selling. With an advanced degree, one may start out as a marketing coordinator, who is the hub for projects. This individual must ensure that all players are performing as they should.
Sales representatives, sometimes called manufacturers’ representatives or manufacturers’ agents, generally work for manufacturers, wholesalers, or technical companies.
Occupational opportunities are expected to be good due to the many positions in manufacturing, retail, wholesale, and service occupations.
The College offers degree, diploma and short-term training with TCCs including:
- Entrepreneurship
- Marketing Specialist TCC
- Sales Representative TCC
- Small Business Marketing Manager TCC
