Professional Development for Teachers is crucial to ongoing classroom success. Are you looking to meet your continuing education requirements? Maybe you just appreciate learning new skills to continue improving your overall classroom experience. With over 50 continuing education Certified Online Courses available, we have the perfect classes to help you achieve your goal. Our 6-week online classes offer you 24 hours of instruction in your course of choice. New sessions start each month. Please consult your Professional Development Coordinator for continuing education approval.

Instructor-Led Courses (6-weeks in length)

In partnership with ed2go, Savannah Technical College’s Professional Continuing Education department offers online, Instructor-Led Courses.

Participants in these courses can enroll for the love of learning or to meet continuing education requirements. They also have the flexibility to study at their own pace combined with enough structure and support to complete the course. And they can access the classroom 24/7 from anywhere with an Internet connection.

New sessions of each course run every month. They last six weeks, with two new lessons being released weekly (for a total of 12). The courses are entirely Web-based with comprehensive lessons, quizzes, and assignments. A dedicated professional instructor facilitates every course; pacing learners, answering questions, giving feedback, and facilitating discussions.
