This training course is designed to ensure you have the knowledge necessary for the safe operation of a powered industrial truck. You will be provided the opportunity to operate a forklift as well as complete a small obstacle course. A stand-up powered forklift, in which loads are carried with forks, will be used during the training course.
Our new and improved Forklift course is currently offered in a hybrid format. This means that the course takes place in two parts, online and in-person.
Part one is the online, self-paced course training.
Part two is the hands-on forklift training. The forklift training is scheduled by appointment and takes place one-on-one and in-person at the Savannah Tech Main Campus, located off of White Bluff Road. Students will each receive 1 hour of training one-on-one with the instructor. Students who successfully complete both parts of the course receive a certificate of completion
