3.13.20 COVID-19 Update

In light of the current health issues and concerns resulting from the coronavirus (COVID-19), Savannah Technical College has made the decision to extend spring break until March 28, 2020 and to close all campuses and suspend activities for the next two weeks. Beginning March 30, Savannah Technical College anticipates moving all classes online.

We have made these decisions to address the health concerns surrounding COVID-19 while minimizing the disruption of delivering educational services. While a variety of factors influenced these decisions, be assured that the health and safety of our students, faculty, and staff is always our primary concern.

STUDENTS: If a class you are enrolled in is moving to an online format, you will receive an email from your instructor. They will provide you with next steps and information on how to access your course online. If your program requires in-person attendance for practical experience, you will receive a notification from your instructor on how to proceed.

FACULTY/STAFF: The College will immediately institute as much telework as possible. Your supervisor will follow up with specific instructions for you and your area of responsibility.

Please monitor www.savannahtech.edu and your College email for updated information and resources.

The emergency management team is in constant communication and will continue to develop answers, adjust plans as necessary, and communicate frequently.
