Minimize Your Debt

Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy is important, no matter what age group you belong to, whether you are just starting 5th grade, funding your college education, planning for a family or retirement. Financial Literacy gives you the skills and knowledge that will allow you to reach your financial goals.  More specifically, it will help you understand how money works in the world spanning from what you earn by having a job, to how you manage it to survive, and how to save it for the future or specific purchases.

Savannah Technical College in partnership with the Department of Education and Ed Financial Services wants to help you plan and organize your financial future.  The objective of the partnership is to help you achieve your financial goals and acquire the knowledge, skills, and abilities you can use now and in the future.  Being financially responsible and knowledgeable may not prevent disasters from happening, but it will give you the tools you need to make wise decisions.
