Savannah Tech to host Military Career Fair at Fort Stewart

More than 20 companies will be ready to hire soldiers, veterans and family members 

SAVANNAH – Savannah Technical College will host a Military Career Fair and Hiring Event from 10 a.m., to 3 p.m. on October 7, 2014 at Building 705 (100 W. 15th Street) on Fort Stewart, Georgia. This event is open to soldiers, veterans and their family members. More than 20 companies will be available to meet with military about jobs, including Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Firth Rixson, Elan Technology, SNF Holding Company, Home Depot, UPS and more.

The College’s faculty and staff are proud to assist veterans, military members, dependents and spouses in furthering their education and job placement. STC is an approved member of the Veteran’s Education Assistance program and the Soldiers Opportunity College (SOC). Active Duty and Georgia residents may qualify for in-state tuition rates with active duty status and proof of residency.
