Savannah Tech to Host General Studies Career Fair

Candidates for adjunct faculty may learn more about teaching positions

SAVANNAH – Savannah Technical College is continuously seeking qualified candidates for general studies adjunct faculty teaching positions. The College will host General Studies Career Fair sessions in December 2013 at the Savannah, Effingham and Liberty Campuses.

  • Savannah Campus: Tuesday, December 3, 6-8PM, Academic Commons 7228

  • Effingham Campus: Wednesday, December 4, 6-8PM, Room 135

  • Liberty Campus: Thursday, December 5, 6-8PM, Conference Room
    100 Technology Drive, Hinesville, GA 31313

   General studies courses include mathematics, English, reading, biology, psychology, sociology, speech, economics, humanities. Part-time positions for adjunct faculty are appointed each semester for day and evening classes.

   Qualifications for teaching include a master’s degree in the field or a master’s degree and 18 graduate credits in the subject to be taught. To be considered for one of the adjunct teaching positions in Spring 2014, please bring resume, cover letter, and unofficial transcript to one of the career fairs.
