Continuing Education to offer Intermediate MS Excel, Powerpoint Classes

SAVANNAH – Savannah Technical College will offer classes this summer in Excel and PowerPoint through Professional Continuing Education. The two 10-hour classes meet from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

     The MS Excel class meets June 6 through June 20. Participants will learn how to use multiple worksheets, link workbooks, format, sort/filter, manage lists, create templates and more.

     The MS Powerpoint class meets June 21 through July 11. Participants will learn how to define template characteristics, create master slides, diagrams/flowcharts and organizational charts, add sound/video/ animation, publish as a web page, create hyperlinks and custom shows, work with narration/slide timings and more.

     The cost for MS Excel is $85, and the cost for PowerPoint is $95. To register for the course and for payment, contact Reeshemah Johnson 912.443.5808. Credit and/or debit card payments may be made via telephone. Money order, personal or cashier’s checks made payable to Savannah Technical College will only be accepted at the Crossroads Campus.

      The Crossroads campus is located off of I-95 at Exit 104E (Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport). Turn left into the Crossroads Business Park. The campus is approximately two miles on the left.
