Course Descriptions

Certified Kitchen Cook

The Certified Kitchen Cook credential recognizes those professionals in a food service operation who are committed to high standards in everything they do. The certification is supported by the START (Skills, Tasks, and Results Training) for Kitchen Cook. The Kitchen Cook training covers 18 key areas, including: Explaining how to use basic kitchen tools and equipment, including knives, Converting standard recipes based on portion size and number of portions, Handling special guest situations, including substitutions, and demonstrating basic kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines. Course will cover preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items and assess students on the completion of each skill learned during the course.

Customer Service

As a customer service representative, you are expected to handle customer interactions in the best way possible. In this course, you will explore the background and techniques of customer interactions.Providing quality customer care ensures that every single contact with your company is a positive experience. ServSafe Food Manager

The ServSafe Manager Course covers critical principles including: personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, training hourly employees, and more. The ServSafe® program is developed by the National Restaurant Association with the help of food service industry experts who face the same risks you do every day. Your concerns are our concerns.
