Certified Kitchen Cook
The Certified Kitchen Cook credential recognizes those professionals in a food service operation who are committed to high standards in everything they do. The certification is supported by the START (Skills, Tasks, and Results Training) for Kitchen Cook. The Kitchen Cook training covers 18 key areas, including: Explaining how to use basic kitchen tools and equipment, including knives, Converting standard recipes based on portion size and number of portions, Handling special guest situations, including substitutions, and demonstrating basic kitchen safety and sanitation guidelines. Course will cover preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items and assess students on the completion of each skill learned during the course.

The ServSafe Manager Course covers critical principles including: personal hygiene, cross contamination, time and temperature, receiving and storage, food safety management systems, training hourly employees, and more.
