Airframe and Powerplant 4-Week Certification Prep Course

Savannah Technical College is offering a 4-week Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance Certification Prep non-credited course.

Interested participants must already have their 8610-2 Sign Off form or Graduation/Certifications in Airframe and Powerplant from an accredited Part 147 school to participate in this program.

November 18-December 20, 2024 (Deadline to register is 11/01/24)

 

Withdrawal deadline is two weeks prior to start of the session. (Refund for session fee will be minus book costs) Fees are due within 2 days of registration.

Class Layout

  • Classes will be Monday through Friday of each week from 5:30pm to 9:30pm

 

  • Week one will be General Written Prep – Written test will be Monday after the week of class during the day

 

  • Week two will be Airframe Written Prep – Written test will be Monday after the week of class during the day

 

  • Week three will be Powerplant Written Prep – Written test will be Monday after the week of class during the day

 

  • Week four will be Practical Prep – Oral and Practical’s will start after this week based on schedule with DME

Cost for Each Week

  • Each Written Week Prep Class Cost – $450 per person
    • This includes registration fee and books
    • Students would pay the $175 each when they sign up for the written tests
  • Practical Prep Course for Everything (General, Airframe, and Powerplant) – $1,250 per person
    • This includes registration free, books, and price of oral and practical
  • Practical Prep Course for General/Airframe or General/Powerplant) – $950 per person
    • This includes registration fee, books, and price for oral and practical
  • Practical Prep for Add-on Rating – $750 per person
    • This includes registration fee, books, and price for oral and practical

If taking all 4 weeks, total cost is $2,600. Student pays for the 3 written exams at $175 each when you sign up for your test

(If student decides to withdraw, they have two weeks prior to the start date. If they withdraw before the two weeks prior to the start date they will be refunded their money back minus the book fee.)
