Chef Gearry – South’s Greatest Chefs
Chef Gearry Caudell, CEC, CFSE, ACE, has trained culinary students for more than five years in one of the nation’s top culinary programs at Savannah Technical College. In 2015, he was named the ACF Chefs of the Low Country Chef Educator of the Year. His expertise is modernist and contemporary cuisine, along with garde manger and charcuterie. He is the STC Knowledge Bowl coach for 2015-16 and also works with Wounded Warriors and Chefs Move to Schools. Prior to teaching at Savannah Tech, Chef Gearry was an Chef de Cuisine (executive chef) at French Lick Resort in Indiana. He enjoys spending time on the water with his wife, Stacey.
