Savannah Tech Joins Statewide Effort to Waive Application Fees, Highlights Growing Career Programs
(COASTAL GEORGIA) In an effort to increase access to higher education, Savannah Technical College (Savannah Tech), the premier provider of career-ready technical education and workforce development in Coastal Georgia, is participating in a statewide initiative to waive application fees through the end of March. The move, part of the Georgia Apply to College program, aims to remove financial barriers for prospective students across the Coastal Empire.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Georgia Student Finance Commission (GSFC) in collaboration with the University System of Georgia and the Technical College System of Georgia, focuses on supporting first-generation and underrepresented students. By eliminating application fees, the program seeks to encourage more individuals to explore post-secondary education opportunities.
