Dr. Ryan W. Foley, President of Savannah Technical College, leads the institution with a clear mission to equip Coastal Georgia with a skilled workforce that drives economic progress.

Two decades of experience in technical education have taught him the crucial lesson that speed matters. Students need skills they can use now, not just theories for later. This direct approach to training is the core advantage Savannah Tech offers over traditional academic routes.

One example is the Associate of Science in Nursing program. Through an accelerated curriculum, Savannah Tech is rapidly training qualified registered nurses, giving local residents the opportunity to earn RN licensure in half the time of conventional programs.

This philosophy applies across Savannah Tech degree programs, from Aviation Technology, Logistics and Supply Chain Management to Robotics and Automation, Cybersecurity, and everything in between.

Savannah Tech graduates achieve a 99.6% employment rate, with 94.2% working in their trained profession.

With more than 13,000 students enrolled annually, the college offers direct pathways to successful careers, including dual enrollment, high school equivalency, and specialized support for veterans.

Dr. Foley holds a bachelor’s degree in management and an MBA from Georgia Southern University, along with a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management from the University of Georgia. He is a champion of lifelong learning, a core principle of technical education.

At a critical time for Savannah Tech, he is leading an expansion of online and hybrid learning options, investing in updated facilities, and developing new programs that anticipate future workforce needs.

He works tirelessly to ensure Savannah Tech remains a vital engine of the Coastal Georgia economy, one skilled graduate at a time.

Nicki Kent serves as Executive Assistant to Dr. Ryan Foley, President of Savannah Technical College. She provides comprehensive, high-level executive support to maximize the effectiveness of the President’s office and college leadership.

Nicki is a trusted liaison for Dr. Foley and a proactive problem solver who maintains clear communication and a professional operational environment.

Gayle Tremble serves as Vice President for Academic Affairs, where she leads the academic enterprise to produce skilled, job-ready graduates while maintaining academic integrity, regulatory compliance, and strong partnerships with industry.

Gayle earned her Ed.D., M.A. in English, M.Ed., and B.S. in Business Education, all from Georgia Southern University. She has also served as a dean and instructor and is a graduate of the Georgia Department of Education’s Leadership Academy and the Technical College System of Georgia’s Senior Leadership Academy.

Her work has earned significant recognition. Gayle was named Regional Instructor of the Year for Southeast Georgia in 2003 and was nominated for the United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Women Who Rule award in 2025. She serves on the Chatham County Schools Career Education Advisory Council and previously worked with the South Carolina American Association of Women in Community Colleges.

Tal Loos serves as Vice President of Economic Development, where he works to meet industry’s workforce needs by training and developing its current and future workforce.

He has 23 years of experience in the Georgia Technical College System. He began as a student, graduating from the aviation maintenance program. His career path has included service as an adjunct instructor, full-time instructor, program chair, dean of industrial technology, and dean of aviation at Savannah Tech. That progression gives him a strong understanding of technical education from the classroom to executive leadership.

Tal has completed the 2023 Senior Leadership Academy for the Technical College System of Georgia and is the recipient of the Lighthouse Outstanding Instructor Award from the Technical College System of Georgia. He is also an FAA Designated Mechanic. He coached youth soccer when his sons were active in community sports.

He enjoys traveling, road trips, and cooking with his wife.

Tal is committed to helping people develop skills and knowledge that can take them from a spark of interest to a lifelong, rewarding career.

Paul Scott serves as Vice President for Institutional Effectiveness and Technology. His main responsibilities include maintaining the college’s compliance with federal guidelines and national accreditors while ensuring the IT infrastructure is optimized, updated, and secure.

He brings a varied background in technology, education, and administration, including experience as a Senior Technician and Manager at E-Depot, a teacher and principal at Faith Christian Academy, and in multiple roles at Southern Crescent Technical College, where he served as an academic advisor, network specialist instructor, and institutional effectiveness project manager. That range of experience supports his work at the intersection of compliance, institutional performance, and technology.

Paul’s professional recognitions include the Cisco Network Academy Rising Star Award and Instructor Excellence Award, as well as National Institute for Staff and Organization Development Excellence Awards. He serves as a facilitator for Moral Reconation Therapy and domestic violence programs serving adult, juvenile, and veteran clients.

He has been married for 36 years and enjoys spending time with his three children and five grandchildren.

Paul believes that creating a supportive and positive working environment helps students, faculty, and staff perform at their best.

Robert Grant serves as Vice President for Community and College Relations. With a strong commitment to workforce development and collaboration across the region, he supports a broad range of programs that lead to student success.

His background includes development and relationship-building experience as Director of Development for the Parker College of Business at Georgia Southern University and for Junior Achievement of Georgia. That experience informs his work in strengthening connections that promote student success and advance the college’s broader mission.

Robert is a 2018 graduate of the Leadership Southeast Georgia program. He is a member of the Savannah Downtown Rotary Club and serves as a board member of the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce.

Born into an Air Force family, he grew up in several areas of the United States. He is a fitness buff and practices a vegan diet in the belief that you have to take care of yourself in order to take care of others.

A lifelong educator, Robert is dedicated to student success and personal achievement.

Cynthia Cradduck is a Savannah native whose local roots inform her results-driven leadership every day. In her role as Assistant Vice President for Public Relations and Marketing, she leverages effective communication strategies and storytelling to drive enrollment and support key workforce goals.

She applies a decade of high-level agency experience gained as Managing Partner of Cecilia Russo Marketing to the college’s enrollment strategy. Her focus is on messaging that links hands-on training to the high-demand careers driving the region’s economy.

Cynthia’s professional impact is well-recognized. She is a Georgia Trend “40 Under 40” honoree, a Savannah Magazine “Rising Star in Business,” and a Georgia Southern University “40 Under 40 Alumni.” Her dedication is mirrored by her civic leadership and commitment to regional workforce readiness.

She serves on the EmployAbility board of directors and supports the United Way Women United Committee. Previously, she worked as Executive Administrator for Leadership Southeast Georgia, increasing annual donations by 155% over five years.

Cynthia is deeply connected to the Coastal Empire community she serves. She resides on Wilmington Island with her husband, Aaron, and their children, Emerson and Ruthie. She is also an active member of Isle of Hope United Methodist.

Cynthia understands that by lighting the path for students, she is delivering strength and opportunity for the community she calls home.

Katie Twining serves as Assistant Vice President of Operations. She is responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, inviting environment for students, faculty, and staff to learn and work in.

She brings extensive operations and facilities experience from ARAMARK Facility Services on college campuses in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Georgia, where she worked her way up from Assistant Director of Facilities to Operational Excellence and Sustainability Manager and then Director of Facilities and Construction. She also served as Assistant Vice President of Facilities at Georgia Southern University before assuming her current role. That progression reflects a career built on operational leadership in higher education environments.

Katie received the 2016 SGA Professional Staff Service Award and multiple ARAMARK awards recognizing operational excellence and performance. Her professional involvement includes membership in APPA, SRAPPA, GAPPA, where she has served on the board since 2018, and SCUP.

A Georgia resident for 12 years, she resides in Richmond Hill with her three daughters and their Labradoodle, Tucker.
