Enrollment Checklist

Follow these steps to become an official Savannah Tech student!

Step 1: Apply to Savannah Technical College

  1. Go to savannahtech.edu and click Apply Now at the top of the page.
  2. Click Online Application to create your account and complete the application.
  3. Pay the $25 application fee (no fee for readmitting students).
  4. Dual Enrollment students: Apply at savannahtech.edu/admissions/dual-enrollment-students.

Step 2: Submit Transcripts

High School or GED: Send your final transcript to [email protected] or mail it to:

You may waive the high school or GED transcript if you have completed at least 12 college-level semester hours with a grade of C or better.

College Transcripts: College transcripts must be official and sent directly from an authorized transcript service or the institution. Transcripts may be sent electronically to [email protected] or mailed in a sealed envelope to:

Military: Submit a DD-214 or official documentation of service to verify education equivalency.

Once you submit one of the above, a general admissions decision will be made.

Step 3: Verify Lawful Presence and Residency

  • Upload your state driver’s license or ID when applying online, or bring it to Admissions.
  • Proof of 12 consecutive months of Georgia residency qualifies you for in-state tuition.
  • Permanent Residents: Provide your Permanent Resident Card plus your state ID or license.
  • Without proof, applicants are coded at the Foreign Rate.

Savannah Tech New Student Helpful Information

Follow these steps to become an official Savannah Tech student!

Access Your Student Accounts

  1. Go to savannahtech.edu → Students tab → MySTC Student Portal.
  2. Log in using your Savannah Tech email address and password.

OKTA Portal – One Login for Everything

Access all your Savannah Tech accounts with one username and password:

  • Blackboard/eCampus
  • STC Email
  • Banner Web
  • Degree Works
  • Microsoft Teams and OneDrive

Paying for Classes

  1. Log in to Banner Web through your STC email.
  2. Select Student & Financial Aid → Pay Balance Online.
  3. Confirm the correct term and choose Pay by Credit or Check.
  4. Complete your payment form.
