Career Services For Employers

Use Savannah Technical College’s Office of Career Services to help in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of well-qualified employees. Employers are encouraged to conduct on-site recruiting activities at Savannah Technical College as frequently as needed. These activities may include interviewing on-campus, making presentations to students on their specific organizations, facilitating workshops on career-related subjects for students, and participating in Career Fairs.

  • Invitation to the annual Career Expo

Access STC Career Connections where you can post jobs for our students and alumni as well as review and access resumes of potential applicants. To create a company profile and/or post a job opening, visit STC Career Connections and follow the prompts.

All job ads will be reviewed before they are visible to applicants and you will be notified when each is approved.  Once the posting is approved, students may begin to apply for your job opening directly from the site or in the manner you specify.

Savannah Tech Guarantees Our Graduates

The Technical College System of Georgia guarantees employers that graduates of state technical institutes shall possess the skills and knowledge prescribed by the state curriculum standards. If, within two years of graduation, a graduate or the employer is convinced that the employee is not competent in an area of training required by the state curriculum standards, the graduate will be retrained by any technical institute with no charge to the student or the employer.

Career Services For Faculty

The Office of Career Services supports faculty in the following ways:

  • Delivering in-class career workshops on résumé development, professional image, interviewing skills, and career planning.
  • Connecting faculty with potential employers for Departmental Advisory Boards, internships, and post-graduation employment opportunities.
  • Providing graduate follow-up data and related information to support program accreditation and renewal efforts.
  • Recommending guest speakers on career-related topics for classroom engagement.
  • Offering career guidance to students who are evaluating their fit within a chosen program of study.

To ensure equitable access for all qualified students, all referrals to job openings must be directed to the Career Services Office for posting.
