Wilson selected as Logistics Department Head

Paul WilsonSAVANNAH, Ga. – Savannah Technical College recently selected Paul Wilson as its department head for Logistics. As department head, he teaches and coordinates academic programs, advises students, supervises faculty and performs various departmental and college-wide assignments.

He previously was an adjunct instructor for Logistics Management at the College. He has a decade of experience with logistics, customer service and manufacturing consulting.

He has a master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Global Integration Management and a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration from Saint Leo University. He graduated from Woodville-Tompkins Technical and Career High School from the CISCO systems training and development program.

Logistic Management is a career of strategy, design, tactical planning and observation. STC’s Associate of Science Degree in Logistics Management is designed with a large pre-business and general education core coupled with an occupational component of courses in logistics management. This program mirrors the Pre-Business and Core Curriculum of Georgia Southern University, which enables graduates to continue their education in various logistics fields at a university level.

The College also offers an associate degree and diplomas in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Students may also complete short-term technical certificate of credit programs for Certified Warehousing and Distribution and Logistics Technician.
