Savannah Technical College Open House to Highlight Adult Education and Workforce Development Opportunities

(COASTAL GA) Savannah Technical College (Savannah Tech), the premier provider of career-ready technical education and workforce development in Coastal Georgia, announces its upcoming Adult Education Open House event from 8 a.m. until noon on Tuesday, April 1, at the Learning Enrichment Center, Adult Education Building, located at 5717 White Bluff Rd., Savannah, Ga.

This free event is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the educational opportunities available, particularly for adult learners seeking to enhance their skills and achieve their career aspirations.

The Open House will emphasize Savannah Technical College’s diverse educational pathways, including enrollment in the Savannah Technical College Academy (the CPH program), High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation classes, and English as a Second Language (ESL) courses. These programs are designed to equip students with the tools they need to succeed academically and professionally, making education attainable for prospective learners regardless of their starting point.

Savannah Technical College Academy is a specialized program guiding students to achieve their academic credentials while preparing for technical certifications or further education. HSE instruction supports individuals aiming to achieve high school equivalency through recognized testing options, such as GED and HiSET exams. Additionally, ESL courses are offered to non-native English speakers, strengthening their language proficiency to unlock academic and career opportunities.

During the event, guests will also be introduced to high-demand career programs leading to diplomas and associate degrees in fields such as healthcare, information technology, aviation technology, culinary arts, business, and advanced manufacturing. Participants will have the chance to tour the College’s innovative facilities, meet dedicated instructors, and consult with academic advisors to explore the programs that best align with their aspirations.

To ensure education is within reach for everyone, Savannah Technical College will provide information on available financial aid resources, including scholarships, grants and payment plans. By offering these options, the College reaffirms its dedication to making education both accessible and affordable.

The event is open to the public, and advance registration is encouraged online at: Event Registration. Walk-ins are also welcome.
