Savannah Technical College to host Career & Resource Fairs in April
SAVANNAH, GA – Savannah Technical
College will host career and community resource fairs in April at its Savannah,
Effingham and Liberty Campuses. More than 100 employers and 20 community
resources will participate in the event.
This event is open to the public,
along with STC students. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally and
bring resumes. All campuses will have the 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. schedule:
- April 4, Liberty Campus (100 Technology Drive,
Hinesville, GA 31313)
- April 11, Effingham Campus (2890 Hwy 21 South,
Rincon, GA 31326)
- April 18, Savannah Campus (5717 White Bluff
Road, Savannah, 31405)
Employers will be recruiting for
positions in healthcare, information technology, cyber security, hospitality,
customer service and retail, communications, governmental, manufacturing, and
more.
“Career Fairs are great ways for
employers to interact with candidates before the hiring process begins,” said
STC Career Services Coordinator Kelly Collingsworth. “I am excited to be
launching this collaborative event and look forward to facilitating
connections.”
The career and resource fair is
designed to provide an opportunity to connect students and employers, who have
positions available, as well as to educate students about community recourses
that may facilitate their needs. It is a collaborative effort between STC’s
Career Services and Counseling/Disability Services.
Collingsworth is the point of
contact for employers that would like to participate in future career fairs.

Savannah
