Voice-Overs…Now Is Your Time!
An Interactive Workshop  

In what could be the most enlightening 2 hours you’ve ever spent, this class will show you how you can actually begin using your speaking voice for commercials, films, videos, and more. Most people go about
it the wrong way. In this introductory class, you will learn about a unique, outside the box way to break into this creative, fulfilling, and potentially lucrative industry. Voice-overs can be managed on your
own terms, on your own turf, in your own time, and with minimal overhead! Whether you choose to pursue voice-overs part-time or full-time, this could be the game changer you’ve been looking for.

In the class, participants will discover industry’s opportunities, the structure of advertising, how to make a demo, the kinds of voices in demand, and most importantly, obtain a proven process for finding work.

Such-A-Voice’s program has numerous former students thriving in the business as living proof of the success of their unique method. Students will also have the opportunity to practice recording a simulated voice-over!

What is a voice-over?

Technically, it is the voice of an unseen narrator or of an onscreen character not seen speaking. Basically, it’s ANY recorded voice being played back for you to hear.

What age group is your class geared to?

Our class is intended for people over 18 years of age. If interested in having a child aged 13 -17 attend, they must be accompanied by an adult and both are required to pay the registration fee of $25.  The class is perfect for people just out of college looking to start something part time while they build a career in a day job, a working professional who is looking for a career change or new hobby, and even retired people looking for a way to make a little extra money on the side. People from all walks of life can attend our voice-over class.

Who would be interested in taking a class on Voice-Overs?

Lots of people are very interested in voice-overs. Many people have been told their entire life, “You have a great voice for radio!” But they don’t know the first thing about how to go about breaking into the field! Just think of someone you know that has an amazing voice.

Registration Fees: $25 per person

Payment for Continuing Education courses can be made by debit card, credit card, or money order. If paying by money orders, please make it payable to “Savannah Technical College”. Payments must be received prior to the course’s payment deadline. We accept all credit/debit cards and money orders only.

Refunds

Students will only be provided a refund if The Continuing Education Department is notified at least 3 days prior to the start of the course in writing. Once the 3-day window has passed, or if the course is currently in session, or if the course has already ended, a refund will not be issued.

Refunds are issued back to the card that the purchase was made on. If the course is paid for by money order, the refund will be issued in the form of a check in the name of the student who was registered in the course. Once the request has been processed, it may take anywhere from 2- 4 weeks to receive the check by mail. To request a refund, please email continuinged@savannahtech.edu.

Special Accommodations

Students requiring special services to take the course such as interpreters, recorded materials, etc, you must register and pay for your course at least one month or more before the scheduled start of class. At the time of registration, please inform the Continuing Education Department of your need for special services by submitting documentation from your doctor.

She has worked as a voice-over casting director for more than 20 years! She found her way into VO after success on stage, film and as a Disney Stunt Performer. She enjoys helping others bring their voice to life and inspiring people to pursue their passions in life, especially voice-over. Join Justine for a fun-filled and informative class!

Such A Voice provides voice-over training, demo production, and home studio and marketing support to aspiring voice talents all around the world.
