Sellers Named STC’s Vice President for Student Affairs

SAVANNAH – Savannah Technical College has selected Terrie Sellers as its Vice President for Student Affairs. She is responsible for providing and administering a comprehensive system of student services to support students as they enter and progress through STC’s educational programs.

“Ms. Sellers has shown a remarkable commitment to students with her integrity, enthusiasm and attention to customer service,” said STC President Dr. Kathy Love. “She has always embraced challenges and will continue her sharp focus on student success as she leads STC’s Student Affairs division.”

Sellers will provide oversight of the College’s services for current and prospective students, including counseling, admission, orientation, assessment, financial aid, job placement, disability services, Center for Working Families operations, graduation events and student activities.

Before being named Vice President for Student Affairs, Sellers served as Interim VP for Student Affairs for more than nine months. She honed her leadership skills as Dean of the STC Liberty County Campus.  She joined Savannah Technical College more than 13 years ago and previously served as STC Director of Instruction for Liberty Operations, STC Department Head/Instructor for Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) and ECCE Instructor. She has more than 25 years of experience in higher education and customer service.

Sellers holds a master of education in early childhood education and a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education from Georgia Southern University.
