Professional Continuing Education to offer beginning computer workshop

Savannah Technical College Professional Continuing Education Division is offering a Beginner Computer Workshop. Participants in this class will receive a combination of lecture and interactive hands-on practice in the computer lab. Key topics for the workshop include getting familiar with the parts of the computer, understanding key terms, sending emails, using Microsoft Word and more.

The Beginner Computer Workshop will run for four days on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm-8pm beginning April 25 and will continue through May 4 at the college’s Savannah Campus (5717 White Bluff Road, Savannah, 31406).  Cost for the class is $65, and seats are limited to 12 attendees. The Professional Continuing Education Department provides short-term classes in both the traditional and online classroom setting. Courses cover a variety of skills and workforce development options that match local employer’s needs.
