STC to Offer Work Ready Information Sessions in Bryan County

Savannah Technical College, the region’s leading provider of quality technical education and workforce development services, will be hosting two free information sessions about the Georgia Work Ready program including information on Be Work Ready, an incentive program for unemployed Georgians.  At the workshops, participants will learn how to earn the free Work Ready certificate and how to earn up to $100 in incentives to offset job search expenses.  

 

Sessions will be held at the Bryan County DFCS office and at the Richmond Hill Library:

Georgia Work Ready is a statewide workforce development program that certifies job seekers’ skills.
  A special program for unemployed Georgians, Be Work Ready, is a one-of-a-kind initiative providing a monetary incentive for either earning a Work Ready Certificate or improving their skills through free, online Work Ready skills gap training.
