  1. What is the Learning Enrichment Center (LEC)?
The Learning Enrichment Center (LEC) is designed to provide academic support through tutorial services, academic advisement, and counseling to under-prepared students at Savannah Technical College.   
 
In addition, the LEC’s computer lab is available for student use and is equipped with an extensive collection of instructional media.  Our staff can help students effectively use these resources to help manage a variety of subject areas.
 
  1. Where is the LEC?
The Learning Enrichment Center is located in the NEW Student Enrichment Center Building, Room 8103, at the north end of the Savannah Campus.
 
  1. Is the LEC available to all students?

Yes, the services are available to all currently enrolled students at Savannah Technical College.

 

  1. Do I need to make an appointment to receive services?

To help us serve you better, please come in and make an appointment for tutoring services. However, walk-ins are welcomed if there are tutors available.

 

No appointment is necessary for use of the LEC computer lab.

 

  1. How much does tutoring cost?

Tutoring services are absolutely FREE for all currently enrolled Savannah Technical College students.

 

  1. How long is each tutoring session?

Each tutoring session is 55 minutes long.

 

  1. How many times per week will I have to come for tutoring?

Tutoring sessions are at least once per week. You may be able to have a tutoring session twice per week, if tutors are available.

 

  1. When is the LEC open?

  Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday:   8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Friday:   8 a.m. to 12 noon
