Internet Resources for Savannah Technical College Students and Faculty
The Savannah Technical College Library uses the Delicious.com website to book mark websites of particular interest to STC students. The bookmarked websites are arranged by program of study such as Early Childhood Care and Education and other relevant headings such as 'Research'. Delicious is a free social bookmarking website. Students are encouraged to create their own accounts through Delicious to bookmark their favorite websites. It allows you to have your home computer's bookmarked Favorites available to you wherever you go!

Off-campus Access to Online Resources

GALILEO, netLibrary, and World Book are available off-campus.

GALILEO
GALILEO is a collection of journal, magazine, and newspaper articles available in an electronic format. The GALILEO password changes at the beginning of each quarter; Contact a Savannah Technical College library for the password. GALILEO is available from academic, K-12, and public libraries throughout the state of Georgia and is funded by the state.

netLibrary
Savannah Technical College subscribes to over 30,000 electronic books accessible through the online catalog and through netlibrary.com. netLibrary books are listed as 'Electronic Resources' in the library's online catalog. Contact the library for the username and password created for all STC students, faculty, and staff. Users on campus may create a free username and password which allows personalized access off-campus which includes a MyFavorites folder to bookmark books for future reference.

World Book
World Book is a good place to find background information for many topics. Savannah Technical College students are advised to check with their instructor before using it on their Works Cited or Reference page. Ask the librarian for the username and password.
