Basic Eligibility Requirements for All Types of Financial Aid
    • Must be admitted and enrolled at least half-time (minimum of six credits/semester) in an approved program of study (some aid programs may allow less than half-time enrollment).
    • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or prove the ability-to-benefit by completing required testing.
    • Must maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP).
    • Must be in good academic standing.
    • Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
    • Must not be in default on prior Federal Student Loans, owe a refund on a Federal grant or Georgia HOPE Grant/Scholarship, or have a Federal lien.
    • Must not have prior drug sale or possession convictions while receiving Federal Student Financial Aid.
    • Must be registered, as required, with Selective Service, Social Security Administration, and the Department of Homeland Security (DHA).
    • Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form each year to qualify.
    • Must provide all required documents requested by the Financial Aid Office.
