Many of our classes have limited enrollments. Registrations are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis and some classes reach maximum enrollment before registration deadlines. To ensure a place in high-demand classes, register two weeks early. Since instructors and staff have to prepare materials and order printing two weeks prior to the beginning of classes, we highly encourage students to register two weeks in advance or sooner before the start date of the course. Also, please note the attendance policy.

Cancellations/Refund Policy

The Department of Professional Continuing Education is self-supporting and depends on student registration fees to cover costs associated with presenting noncredit programs; therefore, we may cancel classes with low enrollment. We will make every effort to notify you of changes or cancellations. When we cancel a class, you will receive a full refund. These will take approximately four to six weeks to process. We appreciate your business and your patience.

Please notify us by phone or in writing at least two working days prior to the starting date of the course if you must cancel your registration. You will be given a 100% refund minus a processing fee (5% or $10, whichever is greater). For a class that meets three times or less, there is no refund if your registration is not canceled in two working days prior to the start of the class.

Attendance Policy

A student must attend at least 70% of classes in order to receive a course certificate. In courses where grades are given, both a minimum 70% attendance and a minimum grade 70 are required to successfully complete a course.

Holidays

The college will close for state mandated holidays. Please consult your instructor for additional information.
