Graduation Rates
Every postsecondary education institution is required by law to disclose its graduation rates annually. For the 2004 cohort, the graduation rate for Savannah Technical College was 42.9% within 150% of normal time of completion. This graduation rate includes both full and part-time students.

Students attend technical colleges for a variety of reasons. While many attend with the intention of completing a program of study, others may desire only to upgrade their skills to a point sufficient for initial employment or promotion. In 2006, the job placement rate at Savannah Technical College was 87.9%.

Georgia's strong economy and the demand for qualified employers place a high premium on the skills possessed by technical institute/college students. This demand results in an increasingly high number of students being hired prior to graduation.
