The Cosmetology program prepares students for careers in cosmetology, emphasizing specialized training in hair care, skin care, and nail care. The program provides focused instruction on safety, sanitation, state laws and regulations and is approved by the State Board of Cosmetology. Graduates receive a Cosmetology Diploma and are qualified to earn a Master Cosmetologist license.
Please note: The Cosmetology program is a cohort program with new cohorts beginning
every Fall Quarter and every Spring Quarter. Because it is a
competitive admission program, it is highly recommended that students
first successfully complete core classes or are nearing completion of core classes required
and then apply for progression into the Cosmetology program via the data form. It is important that all prospective Cosmetology students understand the competitive admission process.
