The Business Administrative Technology program is designed to prepare graduates for employment in a variety of positions in today's technology-driven work environment. It provides an opportunity for students to master word processing, spreadsheet, database, graphics, and desktop publishing Coupled with industry required computer skills, Business Administrative Technology emphasizes business communication, proofreading and editing, and managerial aspects of business/medical office operations while allowing students to specialize in one of the following: Business Administrative Assistant or Medical Administrative Assistant. A certificate in Medical Office Assistant is available during enrollment.
A grade of "C" or higher is required for all courses. This includes general core courses, occupational courses, specialization courses, and electives.
