The Business Administrative Technology program with a Business Administrative Assistant Specialization is designed to prepare graduates for employment in a variety of lead support and office management positions. The program emphasizes the use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, database, and desktop publishing applications software.
Students are also introduced to accounting fundamentals, electronic communications, internet research, and electronic file management. Additionally, the program includes instruction in effective communication skills and technology innovations for the office. Graduates of the program receive a Business Administrative Technology, Associate of Applied Science degree.
A grade of "C" or higher is required for all courses. This includes general core courses, occupational courses, specialization courses, and electives.
