The Medical Office Assistant Certificate is designed to provide the educational opportunities to individuals that will enable them to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary to secure an entry level position as a receptionist in a physician's office, hospital, clinic or other related areas. Technical courses apply to the degree and diploma programs in Business Administrative Technology.
Please follow the course sequence below when enrolling in courses. A grade of "C" or higher is required for all courses (this includes general core courses, occupational courses, specialization courses and electives).
Please note: MAS 112/MBS 100 are only offered Fall and Spring quarters, MBS 102 and BUS 226 are only offered Winter and Summer quarters, MAS 110 is only offered in Fall and BUS 216 is only offered in Spring.
