STAR nomination cards on display in the following locations:

  • Student Center – Goodman Hall

  • Campus Shops – Liberty and Savannah Campus
  • Facilities Office – Savannah Campus
  • Adult Literacy Center

STAR nomination cards will be collected periodically by the Human Resources Staff.

Employees who receive at least one STAR nomination card between January and May will be recognized at the Annual Staff Development Day and/or College Assembly. Each employee recognized will receive a gift.
 
Employees who receive at least one STAR nomination card between June and December will be recognized at the College Assembly. Each employee recognized will receive a gift.
 
Any employee who receives 3 or more STAR nomination cards during either time period (January – May) or (June – December) will be eligible for the SUPER STAR award.  
 
The President’s Council will review a list of the employees who have received 3 or more STAR nomination cards the period of January – May and then June – December.  
 
After reviewing the reasons each employee was nominated, the President’s Council will select the SUPER STAR.
 A SUPER STAR will be selected for the period of January – May and then from June – December.
 Each  SUPER STAR will receive a cash award, a reserved parking space, and other prizes.
 
Once the college has at least three SUPER STAR winners, the President’s Council will transfer the responsibility of recommending the SUPER STAR to a committee composed of past SUPER STAR winners and one representative from Human Resources rotating on an annual basis. It will be the responsibility of this committee to send recommendations to the President’s Council for final approval.
