Active Duty Tuition Assistance

The Active Duty Tuition Assistance (TA) program provides financial assistance for active duty service members to complete a high school diploma, associate, baccalaureate, and master’s degrees, as well as certificate programs. TA is not authorized for programs beyond a master’s degree and will not be approved to complete credentials at the same or a lower educational level.

After meeting with your ESO (Education Service Officer), you will complete the following steps to apply and access your benefits.

Step 1: Apply for admission to Savannah Technical College

Step 2: Visit one of the following links to learn more about this program and create an account

Step 3: Speak with our Savannah Tech Military Education Specialist at the Army Education Center:

Step 4: Once you are registered for courses at Savannah Technical College, you must request TA through your branch specific program prior to the course start date or before the late registration period. TA is requested on a course-by-course basis.

Step 5: Payment of TA is sent directly to Savannah Technical College. You are responsible for all tuition and fee charges not covered by TA or other financial aid. Full payment of outstanding charges are due to the college the day before the semester begins.
